Eating cleanly and taking care of ourselves does not mean cutting everything out that we love. I’m a firm believer in finding the balance between staying true to our wellness goals while still indulging. I just want you to do it mindfully. Most of the time there is a healthier substitute for your favorite “cheat” that will satisfy you and not be a “cheat” at all! Chocolate is the No. 1 craving that I get questioned on regularly. There are some awesome options for you to try that are a lot smarter than traditional chocolate and I happen to love the bars by HuKitcken. In general, look for the highest % of Cacao that satisfies you.
Hu Kitchen’s Chocolate is Dairy-free. Free Trade. Gluten-free. No Refined Sugar. Paleo, Vegan, Organic. No Emulsifiers. No Soy Lecithin. I haven’t found better…I love that they are not full of stevia or artificial sweeteners like so many other Sugar-Free options and they are honestly delicious!
