Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Amy and I am so happy that you are here! I teach people how to be well…in classrooms, on stages, on the page, and one conversation at a time! Whether you found me on Instagram, heard me speak, picked up my book, or Googled a health issue that you couldn’t answer… welcome. You’re in the right place.

ABOUT

Amy Conrad is a wellness educator, author, speaker, and the founder of Here Comes the Sun Wellness, a company built on a simple belief: that real health belongs to everyone, and the path to it shouldn’t be complicated, expensive, or trendy.

With over two decades of experience in the wellness industry, Amy is known for her grounded, warm, and refreshingly accessible approach. She believes in mastering the basics before chasing the next bio-hack, and in meeting people exactly where they are.

CREDENTIALS

Amy earned her degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology from the University of Southern California before becoming a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition — a foundation that shaped her core philosophy of decoding root causes and treating the whole person, not just the symptom or diet.

She is also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and a Certified Breathwork Coach, with ongoing training in nervous system regulation, perimenopause and hormone health, and adolescent wellness. Amy considers herself a lifelong learner, staying on the forefront of the most current health research so she can help her clients and students filter out the trends, the oversaturation, and the noise, and just hone in on what actually works.

After years of coaching adults, and becoming a mom of three daughters, Amy noticed a glaring gap: today’s kids weren’t being taught the basics of how to take care of their bodies and minds.

So in true Amy fashion, she did something about it.

She created what is now one of the first truly comprehensive K–12 Health & Wellness curriculums and stepped into the classroom herself to teach it. Today, she serves as a full-time Health & Wellness teacher at The Meadows School in Las Vegas and leads professional development sessions across the country, helping other schools build wellness programs that actually move the needle for students.

WHO THE HEALTH ARE YOU?

Drawing from years of teaching adolescents and watching them navigate a world that pulls them in a thousand directions, Amy wrote Who the Health Are You? , a wellness book made specifically for teens.

It’s everything a teenager needs to know about health and wellness, covering nutrition, mental health, artificial intelligence, bio-hacking, hormones, body image, sleep, stress, social media, relationships, and more — delivered with the kind of humor and real-world honesty that actually gets read instead of ignored. No lectures. No fear tactics. Just simple, tangible practices that teens can use today.

Who the Health Are You? will be available as an e-book in the coming weeks, with the print edition releasing within the month.
